On Thursday, November 20, 2025, TValley is organizing the TValley Seminar. A day where engineers, researchers, alumni, and students come together to share knowledge and look ahead to the future of applied technology. This event combines the well-known TValley Congress and the Mechatronics Alumni Day, with a revamped format. It's even more focused on engineers and the development of future technologies. We'll kick off the afternoon with a relevant keynote by Dr. Jeroen Linssen, Lecturer in Symbiotic AI at the Ambient Intelligence research group.
Not a congress, but a seminar where you don't just listen but actively contribute to knowledge sharing.
Free access for everyone.
Tech Topic Groups
Each TTG sets the agenda for the coming year during the seminar. As a Tech Topic Group, we'll work with you interactively. What technology are you working on, and what challenges are you facing? What knowledge is needed? What work experience and technological knowledge can we share to accelerate our progress together? This will help us determine the 2026 Annual Agenda for each Tech Topic Group for the next three meetings.
The TTG themes are:
- Autonomous navigation
- Machine vision & sensoring
- Digital manufacturing & robotics
- Generative AI for product design
Mechatronics Alumni Day
The Mechatronics Alumni Day is integrated into the Seminar. Alumni, students, and faculty share experiences and discuss how knowledge from the program is applied in practice. The connection with the Seminar makes the connection to current technological developments immediately visible.
Techplein
During the TValley Seminar, the Techplein is the heart of interaction and discovery for students and engineers. This square showcases the latest technologies in robotics, mechatronics, and AI. Here, you'll see the technology of the future in action. But Techplein is more than just a demonstration area. It's a place to meet, exchange ideas, and discuss relevant technological issues. This is where conversations arise that deepen and provide new insights for both engineers and researchers.
Students also find it a place to connect, offering internships and graduation projects combined with speed dates with alumni. This puts them in direct contact with the professional field and fosters valuable connections.
