This has led to strong growth, mainly in the B2B market, where 90% of its customers are contractors. 

As fast and simple as possible

“In just three years, we have grown from 14 to 65 employees,” says Daan. “We have made the ordering process as simple as possible for the customer and now have a platform with more than 1000 business customers who order from us.” According to Daan, the success of Toelevering Online is due to the focus on simplicity and speed. In addition to the significant growth in staff, this has also led to a huge increase in orders. The simplified ordering process ensures contractors can complete their projects faster, leading to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Lessons from the GROW Program

The first steps towards growth were taken in 2020 when Toelevering Online started with the scaling-up methodology to better understand their core values ​​and behavior. The idea of ​​testing the concept internationally had been around for some time. When Daan heard about Novel-T's GROW program during a meeting of the Twente Board, he was immediately enthusiastic. “During the program, a mirror was held up to us - we had scaled too quickly without considering our existing customers. This also meant that we were not yet ready to expand internationally. That was not nice to hear, but in retrospect, it was very valuable,” says Daan.

The GROW program helped Toelevering Online ask important questions crucial for their further growth. “One of the most valuable lessons was to stay in constant contact with our customers and to put their needs at the center of our business strategy,” says Daan. “We learned to ask questions like ‘How can we increase customer satisfaction?’, ‘What are our customers’ biggest challenges?’ and ‘How can we improve our concept to better meet their needs?’.” It was a process that really put the company to work. Daan: “Novel-T helped us take the next step. I would recommend the program to anyone with growth ambitions.”

A revolution in the construction sector

Toelevering Online has taken the lessons from Novel-T to heart and is now in constant contact with its customers. This has led to higher customer retention and further international expansion plans. “We have expanded to Belgium and have plans to expand to Germany soon,” says Daan. “By 2032, we want to be active in 10 countries and have 10% of the market. I really want to revolutionize the construction industry where acceleration is the number one priority.”

The company is determined to optimize its platform further and expand to new markets. By continuously investing in technology and customer relationships, Toelevering Online strives for sustainable growth and a lasting impact in the construction industry. Daan: “It is trial and error, but I get a lot of energy from pursuing our growth.”
