With hands-on coaching and a vibrant community, you’ll test, validate, and refine your idea this summer. No unnecessary theory—just the essential steps to turn your concept into a clear plan.
NESS is open to students, non-students, and researchers affiliated with knowledge institutions, and participation is completely free of charge.
What is NESS all about?
The Novel-T Entrepreneurial Summer School (NESS) is an intensive 10-day program designed to help you turn your early-stage business idea into a validated concept. Taking place from August 18 to 27 at Incubase (University of Twente), NESS is a fast-paced, hands-on version of the proven START Program. Through expert guidance, peer support, and structured workshops, you’ll learn how to define your customer, test your assumptions, and build real momentum. Whether your idea is just a sketch or something you’ve been quietly working on, NESS gives you the tools, feedback, and environment to move forward—with confidence. It’s a one-time summer edition with limited spots, so if you’re ready to stop dreaming and start doing, this is your moment.

We start each day with a genereal kick-off, sharing insights and feedback.
We also wrap up the day together.
There is coffee and tea available as part of the course.
