Highlights of a month 100% digital and COVID-19 support
It’s been over a month already since our country is in an intellectual lockdown. Before the decision of the government, Novel-T already switched to work 100% digital. The team looks back on a month marked by direct support to entrepreneurs, spin-offs and startups. Not only to help them survive in the Covid-19 situation, but also to discover new opportunities. Especially in times as these, you have to stay innovative as an entrepreneur. The team of Novel-T is ready to support you in this. In the past month various online initiatives were launched to help our target groups with the different phases of their business: start, growth or reinvent. Online Q&A sessions, startup roulettes and SME webinars. In this overview you can read the highlights of the past four weeks.
In the past month, our support team spoke with five hundred entrepreneurs from Twente already. They talked about financial problems, arrangements, working from home but also about reassessing the course and exploring new opportunities. Last week, also WTC Twente joined the Novel-T support team for questions of entrepreneurs about international business and expats. All the experts are available for you on a daily basis during the online Q&A sessions. Our target groups receives 2-3 Covid-19 updates per week. They include the latest information about the arrangements, but also other news and inspiration for successful entrepreneurship. The video series, Leadership in times of crisis, an initiative of Ton Kuper of C4Real, where he speaks with entrepreneurs is also part of that. Next week on Thursday April 23, we start with a serie of webinars for SMEs, that we are organizing together with Kennispoort and the Cleantech Regio. During these webinars we deal with innovation themes that will inspire and help entrepreneurs in times of change and to make their business future proof.

Also the START program and the PhD workshops for entrepreneurial researches continues as ‘normal’ via an online channels.
