Robots are increasingly automating more functions that were previously performed by people. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, or AI, advanced behavior becomes possible. Robots will communicate naturally with the environment and with people. With its Human Media Interaction Lab, the University of Twente is making an intensive contribution to the future of robots. Saxion, University of Applied Sciences also works within two professorships on different applications with robots. The T-Valley innovation cluster connects companies and knowledge institutes to accelerate the application of robotics in the manufacturing industry.
