CES2021 started. What can we expect this year?
Mike will talk you through the virtual edition.
Mike: “Like always, we are joining CES to support the startup delegation of Twente. Here we connect top-notch startups with companies and investors. We are trying to be an extra team member to empower the startups as much as possible. Whatever it takes.”
Novel-T also represents the Twente ecosystem. This means maintaining and expanding the network of valuable contacts for startups. Mike: “We want future startups to be able to connect with the right partners and investors in our system. CES is the ultimate opportunity to strengthen and enrich the ecosystem.”
This year the Dutch delegation of startups is bigger than ever! Mike: “We will do everything possible to get the most out of #CES2021!”He will, however, miss the spontaneity: “How cool is it when you meet interesting connections in line for a cup of coffee?” Yet, a virtual event also has its advantages. “It’s easier to speak to more people as you don’t have to travel to the next hall for 1.5 hours. It will be more efficient and accessible than ever.”
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is an annual technology fair. Normally the event is at the Convention Center in Las Vegas. Various startups and companies come together here to present innovative (tech) products on their stand. The goal? Attracting the attention of investors and companies, and possibly setting up a partnership or raising funding. This year, 90 Dutch companies are participating digitally, including about 10 startups from Twente. More information about CES2021 can be found here.
